To assist in the development and promotion of cultural resources within district; to educate residents and link organizations in district to cultural resources throughout the city; to ensure that the youth and elderly have access to these resources; to help locate and publicize funding for arts and cultural activities; to encourage creation of cultural affairs committees thoughout Queens community boards and to stimulate cultural tourism within the district.
